Biography
Founded in 1997, the Tony Vega Band has become one of the premiere independent rhythm & blues acts in the world. This hot Texas act has forged their own brand of red hot rhythm & blues infused rock n’ roll. Making the band’s sound especially unique is Vega’s relentlessly soulful guitar work and one of the most unique velveteen voices to come out of Texas in years.
TVB Highlights:
•Have sold over 10.000 CDs independently!
•Successfully toured over eight European countries (Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark,
Norway, Germany, Sweden, Macedonia and Austria) from 2001 to present.
•Tastes Like Love reigned at #1 for two months on Europe’s Crosscut Blues Charts.
•Two tracks from Tastes Like Love resided in the Living Blues Top 20 Radio Charts.
